After a long time in the planning we finally opened Drift coffeehouse doors in June 2018. A farm diversification project developed from a love of food and a desire to open up part of the farm with a stunning coastal view to serve members of the public good coffee and cake. Every cake, scone, traybake, savoury muffin, batch of soup is freshly made in our Drift kitchen using where possible local or Scottish produce.
In addition to the space offered inside Drift continues to develop its outside seating area. Picnic tables surrounded by planted herbs offer a comfortable area to take in the sea air or try one of the three pallet tables on the grassed area above. Dogs are welcomed here with drinking water in ready supply and hooks under the table to secure them allowing customers to enjoy their food and drink with free hands. We operate on a first come first served bases so no need to book or reserve a table. Take a seat, order and pay at the till and we’ll take care of the rest.
