Old Leckie Farm is run by Alison and Fergus with the help of their three young children, Fergus’ mother and their good friend Al. It is home to 300 Texel/ Llyen sheep, a herd of Limousin X cattle and a fair few tractors. Our location offers exceptional access to some of Central Scotland’s most commanding scenery – all in easy reach by walking, bike, or car.

Old Leckie Farm – Discover the Heart of Scottish Farming
Nestled under the Gargunnock Hills and surrounded by lush grass and age old trees Old Leckie Farm has been run by our family for over 100 years. A small 300 acre family farm we’re proud to care sustainably for our animals and our environment so that we can grow the very best in fresh, local produce. We welcome visitors to our farm as guests in our 5 star self catering accommodation, as part of a farm experience tours and to buy our award winning produce.

Farm Experiences – always wanted to feed some pigs or take 600 hens for a walk, or simply learn more about a working family farm? Come and meet our cows, sheep, hens and pigs during an 1.5 hour tour of our beautiful farm. We welcome any sort of groups from big to small and can tailor our farm experiences to suit.

Uunwind at the Farmstay - The accommodation (Sleeps 6) is based within an A Listed 18th C Steading and is furnished to a high standard so that you can have a relaxing, comfortable holiday.
Enjoy the morning sun as you breakfast round the farmhouse table, take advantage of the picnic blankets to enjoy some al fresco dining, unwind in front of the log burning stove, or in the roll top bath. Sleep well in our wonderful Egyptian cotton bed linen and duck down bedding. The apartment is heated by our renewable BioMass Boiler keeping you warm and toasty whilst environmentally happy. The Steading sits adjacent to the working yards of the farm so visitors can expect to see plenty of activity for example, sheep being moved by the resident sheepdogs, hay being carted up to the shed, and of course, lots of chickens running about.

Eat Old Leckie - Slow grown Highland Beef, Outdoor reared pork and award winning free range eggs are available all year round, alongwith our mixed salad bags and new potatoes, when in season.
There is lots to do in the local area – so rain or shine there’s plenty to keep you amused. The popular villages of Gargunnock and Kippen are within easy walking distance form the farm on the old military road footpath. The City of Stirling is only a 10 minute drive to the East, and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park within a 20 minute drive to the North and West
